...Dr. AcadeMama.
The defense was neither easy nor was it a lovely conversation. It's only just now sinking in that I've done this thing, and I haven't yet felt any sense of pride or relief. I am hoping those things come at some point though.

CONGRATULATIONS! Wahoo, Dr. AcadeMama!
Congratulations!!! So happy for you Dr. :)
Congratulations! I'm sorry the whole thing has been so anticlimatic for you. I do understand, in a way. My defense was wonderful, but the revisions and corrections before I could file the dissertation were beyond grueling, so that took most of the joy of it, and the relief. I hope you do feel some relief in the end. Are you planning to participate of commencement? That probably would be nice.
P.S. I haven't comment in any of the recent posts, but I thought the post about blood in your hands was so moving! Thanks for sharing what must have been a terrifying experience with us.
Yay, Dr. AcadeMama! You did it, and nobody can ever take that away from you. Fantastic!
Wooooo HOOOOOO on you! DOCTOR AcadeMama! Wooooo HOOOOOO, and not under easy circumstances, either.
CONGRATS!
I think a lot of people have to detox before they feel the accomplishment/delight/triumph.
Good going, Doc. Take some time to relish it.
Congrats- and I know what you mean about not quite feeling the extent of what you've just done yet.
